Why am i not getting government subsidy when l buy credit?

Please be informed the Covid-19 electricity relief is for all customers of ECG, be it prepaid or

 

postpaid. It took effect from the 1^st of May, 2020. 

 

The relief is based on your total consumption for the month of March.

 

If you have not received the relief, kindly see the customer relations at your district office for further

 

assistance.

  When new prepaid meters are installed it comes with an initial amount which is deducted when your first purchase is made.

• Will I get more credit when I buy from ECG offices than buying from the Private Vendors

  No please, the vending platform is the same across the board therefore it is not dependent on the location of purchase.
