Is it possible I can receive a bill even when my meter is disconnected?

As long as a meter is installed a customer will always be receiving estimated bills unless the meter is removed by ECG or ECG is notified to disconnect the meter from the system as a result of a customer’s unavailability for a period. Also for faulty meters, customers will be receiving a flat rate (Specific amount every month until the fault is rectified).

However, if the meter is disconnected as a result of debt, the following will apply;
• Non-Residential meters will contain Service charges, VAT and NHIL
• For residential customers, it will contain only Service charges
